The IRF Executive calls for Expressions of Interest (EoI) to host 16th World Rogaining Championship in 2018. Countries wishing to conduct the
WRC must submit an Expression of Interest (EoI) that is in accordance with the guidelines contained in the attached document “Requirements
for Expressions of Interest”.
An EoI has to be submitted within period from 18 February 2015 to 31 March 2015 and will be available for the IRF Council consideration and
assessment for a period of four weeks (up to 31 May 2015). In June the vote will be opened.
Mind the IRF has adopted „World Rogaining Championships Host Policy“ defining requirements for potential WRC Hosts and “WRC Rotation
Policy” enabling regular rotation of WRC locations around the regions of the world (see attached PDF files). Both the policies are effective
for all World Rogaining Championships to be conducted after 2016.
According to the “WRC Rotation Policy” the first opportunity to provide formal Expression of Interest (EoI) to host that WRC will be
given to proponents from the “Preferred” region, i.e. to anyone willing to organize the WRC 2018 in Europe.
If no suitable EoI is received from the “Preferred” region then the EoI for that WRC will be opened up to all regions. Dead line of the
second round EoIs (if required) is end of June 2015.

Up to deadline 31 March 2015 there was no Expression of Interest (EoI) available for the IRF Council consideration and assessment. I have
received the only EoI from Ukrainian rogainers, but the bid has been withdrawn due to the insecure situation in their country.
According to the time schedule from 1 June 2015 any IRF member or any organization group supported by a supervision of an IRF member may
submit an EoI. The bid has to be submitted up to end of June 2015, then the IRF Council consideration and assessment for a period of four
weeks (up to 31 July 2015) is reserved. The vote is expected in September 2015.
Mind the Expression of Interest has to be in accordance with the guidelines contained in the attached document “Requirements for Expressions of Interest”.
